Hello,
This is my new host family. Although not so new again. I live here for three weeks and I seem much longer, as I have done much before Christmas.
Joao Vitor (19), Vera I, Luiz. In the photo is missing the youngest son of Luiz Amadeus (16) since it is the time in the U.S. on an exchange. Lucky for me, because I now have his own room, P
None of us wanted four exchange students in the Rotary Club to change the family. And of course, not just before Christmas.
I liked and like my first family very much. I spent four incredible months in this family as the daughter . My host mother I call "Mama" or "mama" and my host father "Papa" or "Papai". Even now, when I moved out. Of course it seems strange to you that I call my parents as a guest. What do you think - I also found it super funny my host mother to call it that, where I hardly knew her. I knew just one hour and they have said to me: "You can so call us as you like, first name or Mama and Papa"
The words mom and dad are like privileges that only their own parents. We call only his mother Mama!
But over time I started my host parents, but to call it that, because they wanted to treat me like their daughter. And with time and with For the loving care she gives to me is the closeness and the only strange word "Mama" is a habit.
Back to the family change. Now you feel already so good in the one family and a family one may well seem so much and would also like to know that we would remain in their home, then why change? Just because Rotary has established the rule that one more, would undergo eingentlich three families?
Well, this rule was not created out Nonsinns. Our families and Council, as it were, our exchange Parten, have a lot of us exchange students talked about the family changes. Thus, the We go through three families, our exchange will only get richer, kompelxer and interesting. Because you learn to know three different families, different habits and may have different views of what they have to show us absolutely. Now I have two families who want to show me their country and explain. In addition, you learn even more and more people know and after the exchange has not only one but three families, which receive a like back when you return later to Brazil. It's really great to see what patterns for different families. For example, my new host mother Vera has taken me to the market (my first host mother never went to the weekly market). And it was super nice for me there. Sounds boring, but it is not: Every other state I'm seeing and I have been asked: What is it? In such places one can see the life, I think. But it must now be not that you go along each time in such places. Getting to know enough sometimes;)
In any case, it is worth the families go to, even if difficult to leave. But with a family one does not change adopted by the previous family. It then has two or three families. Tania and Elcio, my first Brazilian host family, have said to me: "This is now your home, your home. If you want to come, you come. If you ever want to return to sleep here, you come over. "So it is, one gains knowledge, to families at home. But of course the family in which one is just the first priority.
I was not as sad as I have replaced the family. Although I love my family first but I knew my new host mother has been my third day in Brazil and saw her every week since then. Because it is a Rotarianerin my Rotary Club and I go every week to the Rotary meeting. And since she knew I would come to her house, she always told me how much she is pleased to finally have a daughter. She has two boys namely, the 16 and 19 year old, and they had three Austasuchschueler also received three guys.
So I was both sad to leave my first family, including I've been looking forward to be Vera's daughter.
Now I feel super good here in my new family. I can not say which family I like better, because they are simply different. may
It is the same as when people ask me which country I love: Germany or Brazil. It is eifach different.
I really like my two Brazilian families. Here in my new host family I now have my onw room since the younger son is on exchange in the U.S.. And what I just super great find is that every bedroom has its own bathroom. Yes that's super cool, I got my with private bathrooms. This idea later time I will incorporate into my own house.
OK, now you fall like starting at the ears, as much as I have told and eyes from. Dess Because I do at this point, closing times and pick me further for next time.
I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas.
I wish you all a happy new year 2008, health and joy, vinous stress, but a bit - otherwise it will be boring, serenity, success and love.
Greetings from the summer (offieziell for seven days),
your Sünne.
